St Dunstan Hoofs the Devil - Two colour Screenprint (Detail)

I finished this two colour screen print a while ago for the Museum of British folklore, to be sold at they're Pop-up Yuletide shop in London running until December the 21st. All information can be found at the link below.

The piece is based on an old Folk tale where St Dunstan had a run in with the Devil himself and ended up hammering a horse shoe onto one of his hooves. Leaving Satan in immense pain. St Dunstan would only remove the shoe if he would never return again- which is why you have lucky horse shoes.

The print is an edition of 8. Two colours each separate layer drawn by hand and screen printed at my studio, on lovely off-white Summer set Satarn heavy weight paper.

Available to buy at a very reasonable price please email me at Liam.barrett@live.com or go to the MoBF Yuletide shop and speak to the great Simon Costin.
